Jess, a spitfire bartender in NYC, has always been one of the guys. She has always been at the bars and games drinking with the gang and mocking the girlie girls that annoy us all. After years of being the cute friend to everyone, she takes a chance and falls head over heels for Mike. Mike and his best friend, Luke, find their way into Jess' heart and the perfect relationship is born. Jess and Mike hit it off right away and the two become what they’ve both been looking for, the ‘perfect couple’. It really is the couple that makes you want to puke, they are so cute.
After a few years Jess decides the time is right to move to a new city and start a new life with Mike. She leaves her entire life in the big city behind and moves down south with her man. Her only "friend" is Kristi, a sultry, flirtatious co-worker of Mike's that seems eager to be her best girlfriend and Mike's partner in crime. Forced to make it work in a job that she hates, Jess meets up with Bridget and Morgane. This jocular, and very sarcastic team of girls allow Jess to stop living a lie and go back to her old independent self. They will also stop at nothing to get Mike to realize what he's doing to her.
The result is a blowout story of anxiety, humor, tension and maybe....love?
