and the perfect character.
Time to meet Jess.
Jess is a bartender in NYC and has always been one of the guys. She’s always out with the crew watching the Yankees,
drinking whiskey and beer, rolling her eyes at the girlie girls drinking their cosmopolitans.
After years of hanging out with the boys she takes a chance and falls for one, Mike. Mike and his wingman, Luke,
steal Jess’ attention and the three become inseparable. Jess and Mike become ‘THAT’ couple.
The couple that makes your friends want to puke cause it’s sooooo damn perfect.
After a few years Jess agrees to move down south with her new love and leave her independent carefree life in the city behind.
So, with a new home, a new job, and the love of her life she has it all right? Not really. Her only friend in her new home is Kristi,
a flirty and not-so-trustworthy co-worker of Mike’s. Unable to deal with her anymore, Jess teams up with Morgane and Bridget,
a sarcastic, yet lovable duo that helps Jess become herself again.
Mike is the guy that catches Jess’ attention.
He’s charming, funny, sexy and always the life of the party. Same likes and dislikes, same sense of humor, same friends….yea….it’s
disgustingly perfect.
Mike and his best friend Luke have been ‘boys’ since they were young. They do EVERYTHING together…including hanging out with Jess.
The tripod gets broken up when Mike wants to move south closer to his family, and he wants Jess to come with.
The two of them begin their perfect life together and everything seems to be going according to plan.
It’s a good thing Mike has his partner in crime down there with him and Jess….but it’s not Luke, it’s Kristi, a co-worker of Mike’s.
Does he turn into the guy he was before Jess, or does he behave himself and move forward with his plans with the love of his life?
Luke is the typical wingman/best friend.
He and his boy, Mike, have been quite the team for quite some time.
When his buddy falls for Jess, he surprisingly approves and the
three of them become unstoppable. Mastering the art of the third wheel, Luke becomes Jess’ best friend and is always there
for her no matter what. Him and Mike know everything about each other and have had each other’s backs since day one.
It’s a pretty bro-mantic relationship.
Now that Mike and Jess are moving, Luke is back to flying solo trying to find his perfect woman…
but always answering the phone when one of his two wheels calls him for advice.
Kristi. Oh….Kristi. Kristi is Mike’s co-worker
that just happens to be moving down to Florida around the same time as Jess. She is, what Jess would say, “that girl”.
She’s loud, a horrible drunk, very flirtatious and she wants nothing more than to be BFF’s with Mike and Jess.
Annoying to most, Mike and Kristi become great friends and although Jess is a bit uneasy about always hanging out with her,
Mike pushes them to get along since she won’t know anyone else after they move.
Kristi loves playing the victim, loves attention and when someone takes the bait she reels them in as quick as possible.
What happens when you take 1 part sarcasm,
1 part sass, and 2 parts southern attitude? You get Bridget and Morgane, Jess’ new girl friends when she gets to her new home.
These two sexy beach babes are not what they appear. Looking like the girlie girls that Jess always hated, however,
behind those designer shades and manicured nails is a team of girls that bring the best out of Jess.
They call it like it is, don’t sugarcoat anything and when they have a problem with someone, trust me, you’ll find out.
Lisa is the little sister we all wish we had. She is a little spacey at times, and a bit forgetful…
but I’m sure that has nothing to do with her hobbies. She loves everyone and never has a problem with anything.
Life is good, and she enjoys it.
With her sister leaving she has to come into her own and grow up in the big city all by herself….or she could just keep on keepin’ on.
And there’s Justin.
Justin is pretty to look at and difficult to listen to. This is usually because he has no idea what he is talking about.
Justin is on Morgane’s leash and rather enjoys being there. He wants to be friends with everyone and part of everyone’s conversations
even if he has never seen you before.
Justin is just a big ol’ box of rocks…but he is pretty.
